Про чуму у меня картинка была смешная, стол прямо на улице, сидят дурачки и выпивают. И тих-хо кругом, ничто не страшит, не угрожает…
Наверное, чума за углом стоит, сама их беспечностью устрашена.

Dan Markovich was born on the 9th of October 1940, in Tallinn. For many years his occupation was research in biochemistry, the enzyme studies. Since the middle of the 1970ies he turned to painting, and by now is the author of several hundreds of paintings, and a great number of drawings. He had about 20 solo exhibitions, displaying his paintings, drawings, and photo still-lifes. He is an active web-user, and in 1997 started his “Literature and Arts Almanac Periscope”. In the 1980ies he began to write. He has four books of short stories, essays and miniature sketches (“Hello, Fly!” 1991; “Mamzer” 1994; “By the Sweep of the Tail!” 2008; “The Cookies Book” 2010), he wrote eleven short novels (“LBC”, “The Turncoat”, “Ant”, “Paolo and Rem”, “White Dwarf”, “The Island”, “Jasmine”, “The Last Home”, “Footprints on the Seashore”, “Nemo”), one novel “Vis Vitalis”, and an autobiographical study “The Monologue”. He won several literary awards. Some of his works were published by literary magazines “Novy Mir”, “Neva”, “Kreshchatyk”, “Our Street”, and others.

I got to drive the small school bus even though it was freaky to put it in reverse. We toured all the elementary and middle schools in our district.   47. , there’s a catch: the latest version of the iSCSI target requires a more modern kernel than the one installed on the Sparc line ReadyNAS boxes. If time permits I’ll try to backport the necessary stuff as I did before, but since the changes this time are rather massive I doubt there’s chance to really make it happen. As an alternative I could look into providing a newer kernel for the ReadyNAS but that would obviously be a major task. So don’t expect anything in the near future 😉

One of the fears with the current climate in healthcare is that cuts in Medicare may lead hospitals and other providers to eliminate "non-essential" staff. Often, those involved in spiritual care, i.e. chaplains, are considered non-essential. A trend towards a more holistic approach to healthcare is growing, however, and is welcomed. In my opinion, we do a disservice to patients when we do not include addressing spiritual issues as part of their treatment.
